On the 20th of November we had the pleasure of joining the Czech New Zealand Business Association for a networking event hosted inside the Škoda Giltrap showroom in Auckland.
The setting could not have been better. New models on display, a relaxed atmosphere, Czech Budvar beer on the table and plenty of friendly conversations across the room.
Guests enjoyed an informal meet and greet surrounded by the latest Škoda cars, creating a very open and welcoming environment for discussion. There were short speeches from the organisers and partners, followed by more time to share ideas, exchange experiences and connect with other members of the Czech and Kiwi business community.

One of the key topics was also the growing interest in deeper cooperation with Slovakia and the potential for closer engagement with New Zealand markets. It was encouraging to hear how both communities see real value in strengthening their presence and building new partnerships here.
It was also great to meet with representatives of Budvar and hear about their experiences with expanding into new markets across Asia and Oceania. Their insights into building brand presence in distant regions were inspiring and added real value to the discussions.

Overall it was a warm and enjoyable gathering with great hospitality, good food and a diverse mix of people from different professional backgrounds. Events like this show how active and motivated our community is and how important it is to create more opportunities for interaction and collaboration between Czech and New Zealand businesses.

Thank you to CNZBA and the team at Škoda for hosting such a pleasant afternoon. We look forward to supporting even more activity and cooperation in the future.
